Smart Surat, which is called the ‘Bridge Town‘ of Gujarat, is set to Obtain another Achievement by constructing the state’s Lengthiest Underbridge. The Underbridge will be 502 meters long. This underpass is part of the city’s Smart City initiative and it is Planned to be Working by February 2025.
Designed to prioritize safety and comfort, the underpass will have a revolutionary air-conditioned oxygen supply system to protect motorists from suffocation.”
The facility will ensure smoke-free and airy circulation, significantly improving the driving experience. A specialized fire safety system will also be installed, enhancing users’ safety.
Built at an estimated cost of Rs. 60 crore, the underpass promises a seamless journey for residents and commuters.
The project is expected to alleviate traffic congestion while providing a convenient and comfortable transport option for Surat’s growing population.
Once completed, the underpass will not only symbolize Surat’s infrastructural progress but also set a benchmark for innovative urban planning in Gujarat.
